Local Bands

Cut the Rug are a talented experienced bunch of musicians playing a varied set of rock, rhythm and blues, funk and soul numbers that are guaranteed to get people up and dancing.

Live and Soul - Live and Soul are Devon’s premier 6-piece, soul, pop and funk band, specialising in corporate functions, weddings and other private bookings.

Count to Fire are an Exeter based acoustic outfit, writing, recording and performing their own material. Violinist, Joe Mansfield, is a customer at SWMS.

In the Flesh - A fantastic full-on Pink Floyd tribute band. Although not exactly a local band anymore as these guys tour all over the UK; they have their base here in the south west. SWMS is please to service their 1963 Hammond M102 and Leslie - a key component of their sound.

Blue Jewel - Blue Jewel is an exciting new contemporary folk / acoustic band of top-class South Devon musicians

Instrument Teachers

Penfold Tuition - Cello, piano and theory of music are taught from beginners to advanced level, for exams or just for fun. The tuition can be exam focussed or explore a wider repertoire including classical, contemporary, jazz and pop.

Orchid Electronics (Exeter) - offer repair and maintenance services on a wide range of audio equipment found on stage or in the studio. Also makes a range of studio/stage products.
