Violins, Violas, Cellos, Double Basses

I carry out all repairs to all violin family instruments and bows, as well as other stringed instruments (mandolines, zithers etc). 

Bow Rehair
Bows are re-haired with best white horse hair, with the exception of Double Bass bows where mixed hair can be used if requested.

Some second hand instruments and bows are occasionally for sale.

SWMS has produced a flier 'Get the best from your instrument' which has some top tips for improving your instrument's playability, and ensuring its care and protection.  While aimed primarily at students, it has information that may be of interest to players of all ages and abilities. Please feel free to circulate to any players and teachers that you know who may be interested, or print it off and hand out to your students.
